Description

These are two early 18th-century houses, Nos. 62 and 64 North Hill, Highgate, altered in later centuries. Each house is two storeys high and has a single window. They have steeply pitched, near-pyramidal tiled roofs with a central chimney stack. The front facades are constructed of brown brick with a stone-coped parapet. The windows of No. 62 have late 19th-century sash windows with gauged flat yellow brick arches. No. 64 has wood mullioned and transomed casement windows, also with gauged flat yellow brick arches. Both houses feature doors consisting of six fielded panels, topped with glazed panels and blocked fanlights. No. 64 has a modern hood over its door. The buildings are included on the list for their group value with Nos. 60 to 64 (even).
