Description

Nos 47 and 49 on North Hill, dating from the early 18th century, are a pair of red brick houses with lighter brick dressings. They feature a brick cornice and a small parapet, standing three storeys tall with a basement. No 47 has three windows, while No 49 has two, with all windows having segmental heads. The late 18th century twin doorcases in the centre of the front are adorned with pediments and enriched sides. There are Victorian cast iron railings and stops to the doors, which consist of six flat panels. Nos 43 and 47 to 57 (odd) form a group.
