Description
Number 43, incorporating Number 45, is a two-storey, two-window cottage that dates back to the early 18th century. It is formed from an extension to Number 47 and has a wedge shape. The cottage is constructed of red brick with a parapet, although the front is now painted. On the inner return, there is a replaced sash window with glazing bars and a blank panel above, both featuring gauged brick arches similar to those found on Number 47. The front has replaced sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, a modern bow window with a dentilled cornice on the ground floor, and a reproduction door. Number 43 and Numbers 47 to 57 (odd) are part of a group.
