Description

This is a late 18th-century brick terrace comprising three houses, numbered 62 to 66 on Highgate High Street. The building is three, four, and five stories high, with three windows per house. It is constructed of yellow stock brick, with a stone-coped parapet that hides the roof. Gauged flat brick arches feature above the sash windows; those in number 62 and part of number 64 retain glazing bars. Number 62 has an early 20th-century shop front with a wooden canopy supported by posts. Number 64 incorporates a late 19th-century shop inserted between a carriageway and a doorcase featuring attached fluted Ionic columns and an entablature decorated with palmette and anthemion motifs. Number 66 has a modern shop front. Numbers 58 to 86 (even) are grouped together.
