Description

This pair of late 17th or early 18th century buildings stands on Highgate High Street. They are two and a half storeys high, each with a single window. The buildings are constructed of red brick, with some areas rebuilt, and have a pitched tiled roof largely hidden behind a parapet. There are end chimneys and an additional chimney. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set in exposed box frames and contained within cambered arches. Number 46 features a reproduction bow shop front, while number 48 has a plain, modern shop front.
