Description
Nos. 5, 6 and 7 South Grove are a group of three terraced houses dating from the early 18th century, which were later refronted in the early 19th century. The houses are of stucco construction, with an old tiled roof and dormers. They are two storeys and attics in height. Nos. 5 and 6 feature projecting porticoes and shopfronts. No. 7 has a late 20th-century restaurant extension, incorporating a hipped glazed roof and a central clock tower, built on the forecourt. The windows are recessed sash windows with exposed boxing. A plain band runs along the facade, at the level of the first floor sills and below the parapet. The interiors have not been inspected.
