Description

No. 8 South Grove is a terraced house built in the early 18th century and refronted in the mid-19th century. The exterior is finished in stucco, and it features a tiled roof with a gabled front that is concealed by a later parapet. The building has three storeys and two windows, with a 20th-century shop extension added to the forecourt. The windows are architraved sashes with exposed boxing, and there is a plain stucco band at the first-floor level. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to retain a good small well staircase with turned balusters.
