Description

This is a late 18th-century terrace of six properties, numbered 82 to 86 North Hill. Originally, each property had three storeys and two windows, although number 86 has been extended with an additional bay that matches the original style and materials. The buildings are constructed of stock brick with a stone-coped parapet. The recessed sash windows, most with glazing bars, are set within stucco-lined reveals and have gauged flat brick arches above. First-floor windows are complemented by cast iron balconies. The original entrance doors are 19th-century, featuring five panels, cornice heads, and plain fanlights. Number 86’s extension includes garage doors at ground floor level.
