Description
Number 200, including Number 202, is a mid-19th century villa that features a slightly Italianate style and has undergone some alterations. The building has two storeys and a basement, with four windows: two on either side of a blank central bay. The first floor has an arched recess and a niche below, which is adorned with a shell hood and pedestal. Constructed from stock brick, the villa has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with eaves soffit, which is slightly broken back above the central bay. The outer bays have stuccoed quoins that rest on a stuccoed basement and support a plain frieze. There is a cill band on the first floor. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, feature moulded architraves. The ground floor windows have iron glazing bars and round heads, with margin lights set in moulded architraves that include an impost band. The cills are long and shared. On the right side of the building, there is a four-panel door situated in a prostyle Doric porch.
