Description

The Elms is a mid-19th century villa, originally featuring two storeys and five windows. The exterior is rendered in stucco with incised lines. The roof is slate-covered with a moderate pitch, and has eaves with deep brackets in an Italianate style. The first-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars set within eared, moulded architraves. Ground-floor windows are sash windows with margin lights in moulded architraves, topped with cornices. A six-panel door is set within a heavy, Tuscan prostyle porch. A smaller, single-storey bay has been added to the right side of the building.
