Description

The forecourt railings to numbers 18 and 20 on Shrubland Road date from the 19th century and are of local interest. At either end of the railings, there are stone-capped stock brick piers. The cast iron railings feature decorative lotus flower heads, and number 18 has a matching gate. These railings, along with numbers 18 and 20, form a group with numbers 6 to 16 (even) and their own forecourt railings, contributing to the area's architectural character.
