Description
Nos. 1 and 2 Albion Square are an early to mid-19th century pair of houses, each two storeys high with a basement and three windows. They feature a low pitched hipped slate roof with eaves soffit and are constructed of stock brick. The first floor sash windows have moulded architraves made of stucco, which include glazing bars. The ground floor has long casement windows with flat stucco surrounds and console bracketed cornices, projecting cills, and cast iron guards. Access to the houses is via seven steps leading to four-panel doors, which are topped by rectangular fanlights, all set within a prostyle porch supported by square columns. Nos. 7 to 12 Albion Square form a group with Nos. 8 to 16 Albion Drive.
