Description
Nos 3 and 4 Albion Square, built in the mid-19th century, are a pair of two-storey buildings with a basement, each featuring two windows. They are constructed of grey brick, with a recess on the central axis and set-back outer bays. The buildings have a stucco frieze, cornice, blocking course, and basement. The sash windows include margin lights and are framed in flat stucco surrounds. The inner first-floor windows are paired and adorned with pilasters and a bracketed cornice. The ground floor features a tripartite window with a console bracketed cornice and a central pediment. Access to the door, which has two long panels and a rectangular fanlight, is via seven steps leading to a projecting quasi-classical porch. Nos 1 to 12 consecutively form a group with Nos 8 to 16 even on Albion Drive.
