Description
This is a terrace of three houses located on Heath Street, dating from the early to mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of multi-coloured stock brick with slated roofs and projecting eaves. They are three storeys high, with basements. Each house has two windows. The doorways are round-arched and originally had fanlights and half-glazed doors. Number 88 has a 20th-century Georgian-style doorcase, featuring pilasters, an open pediment, and a radial fanlight. The windows are recessed and have gauged brick flat arches, with 4-pane sashes on the upper floors, and tripartite sashes on the ground floors. A stone plaque at first-floor level of number 88 is inscribed "Claremont Terrace". The interiors were not inspected as part of the listing process.
