Description
A terrace of four houses located at 27-33 Mount Street, built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings, and have slate roofs. They are three storeys high with a basement, and each pair of houses has three bays. A sill course runs along the first floor, as does a top cornice. Windows have wedge lintels. The paired entrances are set under elliptical arches, featuring semi-circular fanlights and Tuscan doorcases, with blind windows above. Plain iron area railings are present. Number 27 has glazing bars to the ground and first-floor windows, and a six-panel door. Number 29 has casements to all windows, and a complete fanlight. Number 31 has leaded casements within architraved windows, with blind windows similarly architraved. Number 33 has sash windows without glazing bars, and a six-panel door.
