Description
Kit Cat House is an end of terrace house, which also forms part of No. 89 Heath Street, built around 1800. It is constructed of yellow stock brick, with the ground floor painted and the left-hand angle chamfered. The building stands three storeys high and features three windows. The central entrance has a doorcase with panelled pilasters and brackets that support a dentil cornice and fluted frieze, which is broken forward over the brackets. The square-headed entrance includes a panelled door with an overlight inscribed "Kit Cat House/AD 1745". The ground floor has sash windows, with a 20th-century fascia above, but to the left, there are remains of an old dentil cornice. The upper floors have gauged brick flat arches above recessed sashes, and the second floor on the left is blind. The building has a parapet.
Attached to the house are cast-iron railings with urn finials. The interior has not been inspected.
