Row containing a shop and 2 houses. C17, refronted in mid C19. 2 storeys: attics to part. Timber-framed, with colour-washed brick front, red brick double gable with string course on south. Internal chimney-stack with large plain red brick shaft. 2-span roof to part: front range slates, rear pantiles. Double-fronted shop on left 2 large canted bay windows and central door up steps. 3 other windows to ground floor: small-paned sashes in deep reveals. One similar upper window on left, and 5 smaller sashes with vertical bars only, all in deep reveals. One blank opening above shop. 6-panel door to No. 23: raised fielded panels, flat pediment, plain console brackets, C19 foot-scraper. Door to No. 25 with flush panels, flat pediment, plain console brackets: up flight of steps with plain cast iron railings and curved handrail. At rear, fronting on to Commister Lane, a range of mid C19 outbuildings in random flint and red brick, with pantiled roofs: part 1 1/2, part 2 storeys.
