Description

No. 17 High Street is a house and shop dating from the 16th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered and has a jettied design along the street frontage. The building has a chimney stack on the rear wall with hexagonal shafts and a pantiled roof. The shop front, which dates from the late 19th century, has a central entry flanked by two dented bay windows. There is also a small canted bay window and door on the left side. The upper floor has 20th-century casement windows.
