Description

Beech Cottage is a house that dates mainly from the early 17th century, although it contains some fragments of earlier work. The building has two storeys and a three-cell plan. It is timber-framed, with a roughcast front and plastered sides and rear. The roof is covered with plain tiles. There are four windows featuring early 19th century small-paned sashes set in cased frames. The entrance has an off-centre six-panel fielded door, which is flanked by fluted pilasters.
