Description

No. 48 on High Street is an 18th-century house that stands two storeys tall. The building features a timber frame that is plastered and lined to imitate stone, topped with a hipped slate roof and a modillion cornice. It has five windows, which are sash style with a single vertical bar set in flush frames. The central entrance is a six-panel fielded door, adorned with a segmental pediment and console brackets. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing constructed from flint and red brick.
