Description
A pair of houses dating circa 1740, with later alterations. The houses are timber-framed with plastered and colourwashed walls, set on a high brick plinth. They have a roof of black-glazed pantiles. The building is two storeys high, with a three-window front. There are two late 20th-century panelled doors, accessed by flights of steps. The ground floor has two three-light casements; the one to the left (No. 16) dates from the 19th century, while the rest of the windows are late 20th century. The first floor has three two-light windows. The roof is gabled, with a central ridge stack. The interior features exposed timber studwork.
