Description

Three houses, dating approximately from 1700, with later alterations. The houses are timber-framed with a high brick plinth. The central section has a thatched roof, while the west end has black-glazed pantiles and the east end has red pantiles. Numbers 18 and 20 were originally a single lobby-entrance house, indicated by their shared entrance which now features a late 20th-century door and an external staircase of six steps. One storey and a dormer attic characterises numbers 18 and 20, while number 22 has two full storeys. Number 18 has a single 2-light uPVC casement, and number 20 has a 3-light uPVC casement, both positioned either side of the doorway. The gabled roof has two dormers fitted with uPVC casements. A ridge stack is situated over the door. Number 22 has a mid-20th-century central door flanked by a mid-20th-century casement on either side, with a similar first-floor casement above. It also has a gabled roof with a stack. The interior was not inspected.
