Description

Three houses, dated to the 18th century, stand on the north side of High Street in Cleobury Mortimer. Number 68 is constructed of rubble stone with brick dressings, while number 69 is of painted stone rubble. They have plain-tiled roofs with a brick cope to the east gable. Brick ridge stacks are centrally located, and a projecting brick stack is found at the west gable end. The layout features a three-cell plan with a rear cross wing.

The properties are single-storey with an attic. The street facade of number 69 features three 20th-century metal casement windows with painted lintels, framing a 19th-century four-panelled front door. There are two tiled gabled dormers, each containing a two-light casement. Number 68 presents a similar appearance with three casements, although the one on the right is a 20th-century replacement, alongside a 20th-century panelled front door. It also has two tiled gabled dormers with two-light casements. The right return gable has a two-light casement above a hipped, tiled ground-floor extension. The rear cross wing, number 67, is a two-storey range of painted brick with a tile roof and casement windows.

The interiors were not inspected.
