Description

Two houses, dating from the late 18th century, are located on the south side of High Street, Cleobury Mortimer. The buildings are constructed of brick with moulded brick eaves and a plain-tile roof. A central brick stack is present. The front range is accompanied by a pair of rear gabled wings, with an additional single-storey rear wing extending from No. 11.

The exterior features two storeys and an attic. The front has a two-window range of 6/6 sash windows, each with a moulded case and a painted flat lintel with a raised keyblock. A six-panelled door is located on either side, with No. 11’s door having C20 glazing. Both doors are sheltered by projecting gabled canopies. Two tiled gabled dormers, each with a two-light casement, are also present.

The right return side and the rear feature two-light casements at both floors, which are mostly renewed within segmental-arched openings. Rear attic gables have two-light casements with flat concealed lintels.

The interior was not inspected during the listing process.
