Description

This is a barn located 20 meters east-north-east of Gatehouse Farmhouse, dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a roof made of mid-20th century pantiles. The barn consists of four bays, with a cart entrance positioned in the second bay from the east. The frame is intact, featuring a middle rail and arched bracing. The westernmost bay has been floored over. The roof includes two rows of butt purlins and arched wind-bracing.
