Description
This barn, located approximately 20 metres north-west of Gatewoods Farmhouse, dates from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, featuring a half hipped red tiled roof. The barn has a half hipped central midstrey with integral outshots on both the right and left sides, and it has projecting eaves. The central entrance consists of vertically boarded double doors, with an additional vertically boarded door on the left outshot. The structure comprises three bays and includes straight bracing to the tie beams, along with a side purlin roof.
