Description
Mulberry Cottage is a house that was originally a pair of cottages, built around 1810 with alterations in the mid-19th century reflecting an estate style. There are also additions made in the 20th century. The cottage is timber framed and has a roughcast render. The roof is plaintiled, featuring three bands of pointed fishscale tiles and ridge tiles, with pantiles at the rear. The building has two storeys and two windows, which are two-light small-paned metal casements with pointed arches on the upper panes; one first-floor window is a matching replacement made of wood. The ground floor windows have hoodmoulds. There is a central lean-to porch with a boarded door, and a central stack with two detached octagonal shafts topped with coupled caps.
