Description

Queen Anne Cottages is a building that was originally a pair of cottages but has since been converted into one house. It dates from the early 18th century and features rear and side additions from the late 20th century. The structure is timber framed and has a thatched roof, with two storeys and three windows. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a flat roof at the rear added in the 20th century. The exposed frame has painted brick infill and a brick base, while the south end has a rendered brick wall beneath a boarded gable. The north end has a boarded wall as part of an outshot. The windows are casements, including two upper oriels with moulded cills supported by cut brackets, and some of the glazing is early. There are also two boarded doors in plain frames.
