Description

Molesey Cottage is an 18th-century house located on Village Street in Goodworth Clatford. It has rendered walls and a thatched roof. The house is one storey high with an attic, and has three windows on the upper floor and four below. The roof is half-hipped at the north end, with a catslide roof slope at the rear. The eaves are raised above the upper windows, but lowered on the south side, where they meet an extension with a lower eaves line and a roof hipped at the south end. The upper windows are set within triangular framing; the south-facing extension’s upper part has exposed framing, and the north gable has exposed framing. The windows are casements. A plain doorway is situated within a rustic porch.
