Description

Old Farm Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It features rendered walls and a thatched roof. The front (east) side has two storeys and four windows, with a half-hipped roof and a catslide roof at the rear. The south end of the building has a gable that transitions to a short stretch of tiling. The front wall is rendered on the south side and has painted brick headers on the north side, with a plinth. The north gable displays exposed framing above a wall made of horizontal flint panels, accented with brick quoins, bands, and a plinth. The windows are casements. There is a mid-19th century wooden boarded porch featuring ornamental bargeboards on the gable, a slate roof, and a boarded door.
