Description

Clare Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located in East Cholderton. It is constructed of flint and render, topped with a thatch roof. The cottage features a nearly symmetrical front (east) with one storey and an attic, comprising three windows above four. The roof is half-hipped, and the eaves are raised above the upper windows. The front displays a combination of flint and brick walls on one side, while the other side is rendered and painted. The windows are casements, and there is an open porch supported by four posts, also with a thatch roof, leading to a plain doorway.
