Description

Bailiff's Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located in Kimpton. It is constructed of flint with a thatched roof. The south-facing front has two storeys and three windows. The roof has a gable to the east, a hip to the west, and a catslide to part of the rear. The flint walls have brick quoins and cambered arches beneath the ground-floor windows. The windows are 20th-century casements. A boarded door is set within an open porch with a gabled thatched roof supported by posts. The building has group value from the contribution it makes to the character of its setting.
