Description

This is a late 18th-century cottage located in Tangley. It is constructed of flint with a thatched roof. The front (south) elevation is symmetrical, featuring one storey and an attic with two windows. An outshot projects from the east side. The roof is half-hipped at the west end, hipped at the east, and features a catslide slope to the rear. The eaves are raised above the upper windows and extend forward centrally to create an open porch. The front wall is rendered, while the west side reveals flint walls with brick quoins and flint panels in the gable. The outshot is similarly boarded. The windows are casements. A boarded door with trellis sides leads to the porch.
