Description

The Elms is a cottage with a sub-post office, dating from the early 18th century. It features colourwashed flint facings with brick dressings and has a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of two bays. The entrance is centrally located, opposite the stack, and includes a boarded door along with timber casement windows set within segmental headed openings. The roof is half hipped, and there is a central brick stack. To the right, there is a weatherboarded lean-to that houses the post office. The rear of the building has 20th-century extensions.
