Description
Lower Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed from whitewashed flint and chalk, reinforced with timber. It features a tiled roof and stands two storeys high with three bays, an outshut at the rear, and a rear wing attached to the right bay. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door topped with a curved canopy supported by brackets. On the ground floor, there are 19th-century timber windows set in segmental-headed openings. Above the door, there is an oculus. The left gable has a stack, and the roof is half-hipped on the right side and over the wing. A lean-to on the side of the wing now serves as the main entrance. The outshut has been largely rebuilt and features four large hipped dormers.
