Description

Three cottages, originally built in the 18th or early 19th century and subsequently altered and extended. They are constructed of flint with brick dressings and have thatched roofs. They are single-story with attics. Number 3, on the right, has two bays; the right-hand bay is elevated to reflect the slope of the land and has been extended to the right with a 20th-century addition of painted blockwork. A blocked door in the right bay has been replaced by a late 20th-century gabled porch. The windows are timber casements, and there are two dormers. Number 2 is attached to the left and also has two bays, extended by a third bay constructed of brickwork with a framed gable. It features a boarded door and oak-framed casement windows. A small brick stack, dated around 1960 and of no particular architectural interest, is located on the left gable before the extension. Number 1, a later addition, is set back on the left. The interiors of the cottages have not been inspected.
