Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of flint and brick, topped with a thatch roof. The front, facing northeast, has one storey and an attic, featuring three windows. The roof is half-hipped, with an exposed frame in the southeast gable, and the eaves are raised above the upper windows. The brickwork is laid in Flemish bond, with six short flint panels arranged vertically between the openings. The windows have cambered arches with projecting keys and imposts, and there is a plinth at the base. The cottage has two plain doorways, each fitted with 20th-century half-glazed doors. The Yew Tree adjoins the house.
