Description

Clovelly is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of flint and thatch and has one storey plus an attic, featuring two windows. The roof is half-hipped and includes eyebrow dormers. The flint walls are accented with painted brick dressings, and the windows are casements. There is a flat-roofed porch added in the early 20th century. On the east side, there is a forward extension from the 20th century that was once a shop, topped with a pantile roof. Additionally, there is a taller rear extension from the late 20th century, designed to match the original style. The cottage is included for its group value.
