Description

Thatchways is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with a late 20th-century extension. It features flint and thatch construction and is one storey high with an attic. The original structure is symmetrical with two windows, but the western addition includes one additional window. The roof is half-hipped, and the eaves are raised above the upper windows. The flint walls are complemented by brick quoins, a first-floor band, cambered arches, and a plinth. The windows are casements, and there is a wood boarded porch with a cambered-arched opening, which now has a French door; the entrance is located at the west end.
