Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage positioned at right angles to the roadway, originally built as two separate cottages. Constructed of flint with a thatched roof, it is one storey high with an attic and features four windows on the front. The roof is hipped and lowered at the north-east end above an outshot, which includes eyebrow dormers. The flint walls are complemented by brick quoins, cambered arches, and a plinth, while the outshot wall is made of vertical boarding, with the end wall remaining as flint. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door, with one former doorway now filled in with a window.
