Hatchways is a cottage that was originally a pair, dating from the 18th century. It has significant 20th-century extensions and restoration. The building features flint walls and a thatched roof, with one storey and an attic, and it has four windows. The roof is half-hipped and includes eyebrow dormers. There are brick quoins, as well as vertical and horizontal bands. The windows are casements, and the entrance is located in the 20th-century rear extension.
