Description

Pound Cottage is a cottage, originally a pair, dating from the early 19th century. It features flint walls and a thatched roof. The front (west) elevation has one storey and an attic, with a total of four windows above five. The roof is hipped with a catslide at the rear and includes eyebrow dormers. The flint walls are accented with brick dressings, and there are some cambered openings. The windows are casements, with one window replacing a former doorway. There is an old doorway that has been fitted with a French window, while the current central entrance is a 20th-century solid porch, which has rendered walls and a hipped thatch roof.
