Description
Rose Cottage and Corner House are two cottages that were once a single unit. The original structure dates from the 17th century and features a timber frame, with an early 19th-century extension and some 20th-century details. The walls are made of brick, flint, and render, topped with a thatched roof. The front, facing east, has one storey and an attic, with a total of four windows above two. The roof is hipped, with a catslide at the rear and eyebrow dormers. The exposed frame includes painted brick infill, while the extension on the north side has flint walls with brick quoins and some rendered sections. The windows are casements, and there are two 20th-century half-glazed porches with tiled roofs, along with small 20th-century additions at the rear.
