Description

Sebastopol Cottages, located on Chapel Street in East Meon, are two cottages dating from the 17th century. They feature a timber frame with some parts clad in 18th-century materials, and have undergone restoration and extension in the 20th century. The north front wall displays exposed framing with painted brick infill, while the rear is finished in painted brickwork. The west gable is constructed of flint with brick quoins, topped by a thatched roof. The cottages include eyebrow dormers and a catslide roof at part of the rear. They are two storeys tall with irregular window arrangements, featuring casement windows and boarded doors set in plain frames.
