Description
King's Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 18th century, with significant alterations made in 1807 and further restoration and extension in the 20th century. The building features rendered walls and tile-hanging, topped with a tiled roof. The symmetrical front, facing south, consists of two storeys and an attic, with three windows. The roof is plain and tiled, and the late 19th-century casement windows replace what was once a central doorway, now converted into a window. At the rear, there are projecting gabled wings from 1807, and the central section has been extended forward with a flat roof to create a continuous wall. This part also has rendered walls, 20th-century casement windows, and an open porch. Additionally, there is a 20th-century garage block attached to the north-west corner.
