Description
Windmill House, formerly known as Windmill Cottage, is a house that was originally three cottages, dating from around 1600. It has undergone restoration and extensions in the 20th century. The building features brick and stone walls topped with a tile roof. It is a three-bay timber-framed structure with external recladding, consisting of one storey and an attic, and has four windows. The roof is plain with a hip at the north end. Part of the upper wall exposes the timber frame with brick infill, while the remaining walls display a mixture of brick and stone in unusual patterns. The windows are 20th-century casements, and there is a glazed door.
