Description

Pitters Farmhouse is a cottage dating back to the 18th century, with later 19th and 20th-century additions. The front (east) elevation is symmetrical, consisting of a single storey and attic with two windows, and an outshot to the south end with one window. A garage is attached to the north end. The roof is ½-hipped, thatched, with eyebrow dormers, and slated above the outshot. The walls are built in Flemish bond with a first-floor band and plinth. It has casement windows and a four-panelled door within a plain frame, sheltered by a thatched canopy supported on posts.
