Description
Kettlesbrook Cottages are two cottages located on Steep Harrow Lane, dating from the 17th century. They feature a timber frame structure with some 19th-century cladding and a single-storey extension. The exposed frame is jettied along half of the front, with painted brick infill, while the other walls are made of painted brickwork, some of which is in rat-trap bond. The south gable is tile hung up to the first floor level. The cottages have a tile roof that is half-hipped at the north end and has a catslide at the rear, along with gabled dormers that have cills at eaves level. The west front is one storey and attic high, with three windows that are casements. There are also two boarded doors in plain frames.
