Description
White Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century and late 18th century. It features a combination of timber framing, brick, and flint, topped with a thatched roof. The building has one storey and an attic, with four windows above three. It has a half-hipped roof, with an exposed frame in the west gable and eaves raised above the small upper windows. There is a catslide roof at the rear and a thatched porch. The front wall displays exposed framing with rendered infill and some brickwork panels, while the other walls consist of horizontal flint panels with brick quoins, bands, and plinth moulding, all of which are now painted. The windows are casements, and the porch features an oval archway that encloses a four-panelled door.
