Description

Gorki is a small cottage that dates from the 17th century, with significant alterations mainly from the early 19th century. The front, which faces north, is one storey high and features two and a half windows. The roof is hipped at the east end and gabled at the west end. The walls are rendered, and there are outshots at each end. On the east side, there is a late 19th-century doorway with a slate roof, and on the west side, there is a late 20th-century window with a flat roof. The cottage has casement windows. The central main entrance includes a half-glazed door set within a shallow porch that has a decorative barge board on the gable. Inside, a timber-framed cross wall suggests that the building originally had a framed structure.
